Philippine home investment is not for everyoneHome investment in the Philippines is not for everybody. If there is no plan to stay for very long at a unit, say three years, it may not be worthwhile to buy as the cost of moving to a new unit could mean selling at a loss. The same goes to those who have no permanent place of employment and have to move around very often. Those who are saving for the future such as opening a new business or saving for the schooling of the children should settle these investments before entering into a new investment. Those who are extravagant in their lifestyle should not think of investing in a new Philippine home until they can settle down. Unless you have already saved enough to make the downpayment for a new home, and can carry through with the mortgage payments, investing in a home is not for you. |
