Case 7: Real Estate Philippines: Even Relatives Can’t be TrustedThe parents divided their new 200 sq. meter subdivision lot into four titles for their three children and Manny, their son-in-law. One of the children sold his lot to Jose, his brother, so there became only three owners. Manny and his brother-in-law Jose started to build their duplex housing unit facing the roadway. Vilma, Manny's sister-in-law had no money yet so she did not put up her house yet. The duplex was almost finished when Vilma saw that she had just a small entrance at the perimeter of Manny's property. The duplex was preventing any main entrance to the middle of the property to be made; so Vilma had to stop the construction
